How long will it take for my carpet to dry?

This can depend on the type of fabric, amount of care needed, and environmental conditions, but typically within 4 to 6 hours, which is a quicker dry time than most companies. Very-low moisture (VLM) cleaning is available upon request and dries within 1 hour.

Do I need to move everything out of the rooms to have my carpets cleaned?

That is totally up to you. The more open area we have, the more area we can clean. Keep in mind, if you don't rearrange often, carpeting under large furniture is often untouched. We recommend picking up small items such as end tables, baskets, boxes, dining chairs, etc., and setting them out of the room or on larger furniture. We can slide couches, recliners, and chairs, but please let us know when scheduling. We do not move entertainment stands, dressers, large cabinets, or beds but can clean underneath beds if they are raised and cleared out. Feel free to ask for more specific details when scheduling.

Do you offer low-to-no chemical cleaning?

Yes! We are happy to do a hot water extraction only for those with any concerns whatsoever. Our pre-sprays, detergents, rinses, and deodorizers are eco-friendly, safe, and contain no VOCs, but we will use water only upon request.

Do I have to leave my windows open for my carpet to dry?

No, it isn't necessary, but you can if you like when the weather permits. Turning on ceiling fans will help speed up the drying process. We don't use unnecessary water pressure that causes carpets to over-soak. Our state-of-the-art equipment, 200-degree water temperature, and cleaning solutions cut down the dirt and do a lot of the work that other companies compensate with more water.

The last company we hired did a good job but the spots came back over time. What caused this?

This is referred to as "wicking" where dirt is deep down in the carpet padding causing embedded soils to pull back up to the surface over time. While this is sometimes unavoidable, it is usually caused by over-saturation leaving excessive moisture underneath the carpet. At B Clean, we don't use unnecessary water pressure and focus more on the correct amount of heat, the right products, and fast dry times.

Your name is Bryan Wilson. Weren’t you in the Beach Boys?

No, but since you made it this far, I will sing a Beach Boys line during our appointment if you request it. You’ll wish you hadn’t. It will be absolutely terrible.
